4/29 Seattle Show Flyer(s)

Some rad flyers courtesy of Sam from Debacle Records/Megabats ..

Above is the original flyer but one of the bands dropped off, replaced by Harpoon Pole Vault as detailed below:

Derek Monypeny didn't make it onto the flyer but he's also scheduled to play. Should be f'n awesome show.

Reviews for We Were Wyoming

A nice review of both tapes up at Auxiliary Out:

Little blurb from Free Form Freakout from a recent webcast:

And don't forget about Matt's tape out on Weird Forest earlier this year:

Any of you out there near Portland or Seattle, please come out to our shows at the end of the month. Each night promises to be killer ... playing w/ Rene Hell, Indignant Senility, Panabrite, Megabats, Derek Monypeny, Tracey Trance, Brother Raven ... those are some heavy sounds right there!

New Tape Out On Stunned Records

Garrincha & The Stolen Elk "We Were Wyoming" c20 (Stunned Records)

We are beyond stoked to have this release come out on Stunned Records. Big thanks to all the Frenchies @ Stunned HQ. This set is actually an older batch of songs from a few years back and features the ever-mighty Kevin Corcoran on drums and Karlos Ayala on bass.

Stunned tapes never stick around for long ... you can snag some from their web site if you move fast. Otherwise, try Discriminate, Tomentosa or Eclipse. I'm sure we'll get band copies soon and maybe sell them on the Weird Forest web site.

Up next, full-length LP/CD/digital album on Weird Forest this summer + national tour in July. Stay tuned!

Live Footage

Davis house show was excellent, with High Wolf bringing the ethno-groovy jams & Monterey Babe Aquarium hypnotizing everyone w/ their fish tank jams. Thanks to Craig, Simi, John & the rest of the Villanova crew.

Here's a video shot by our friend, Greg Haas, of part of our set:
